Smōk-Haus is a bbq restaurant and bar with 2 locations. The Garden City store, located at 7 12th Street, is full service with indoor and outdoor seating and full bar serving craft cocktails, wine, and beer. The newest location in Hicksville, located at 954 South Broadway, offers takeout, delivery, and is the home for catering services. Smok-Haus caters to all Long Island and the 5 Boros.
The menu is described as traditional American BBQ meets ethnic street food with a healthy component to offer something for everyone.
The restaurant is the brainchild of ex-derivative trader and MIT Ford Technical Scholar, Manny Voumvourakis, and his fraternity brothers.
His love for the "low and slow" developed in Hancock New York during hunting trips with his childhood pals and was indoctrinated in Unadilla, GA by his mentor - Myron Mixon.
The business has a cult following with fans who recently awarded the establishment with 6 Best of Long Island Awards for 2024, 11 awards for 2023, and 4 awards in 2022. Smōk-Haus is nominated for 20 awards in 2025.
